As Hidromat Mühendislik Mak. San. ve Tic. Ltd. Şti. (“Hidromat”), in our capacity as data controller under the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“KVKK”), we attach importance to the security of the personal data of our customers, our suppliers, our business partners, the visitors to our website and everyone who contacts us. This notice has been prepared to inform you about the purposes for which and the manner in which your personal data are processed.

Personal data processed

Identity and contact: name and surname, company name, e-mail address, telephone number.
Request and project information: the need you share in the quote form, the project note, the service you select and the files you upload, such as technical drawings, hydraulic schematics and 3D models.
Customer transaction information: records relating to quotation, order, delivery and invoicing processes.
Transaction security: technical records such as the IP address and browser information generated while the website is used.

Method of collecting personal data

Your personal data are collected through the quote form on our website, by e-mail, by telephone, through our social media accounts, at fairs and meetings and at our office, verbally, in writing or electronically; throughout the period in which you benefit from our products and services, visit our website or contact us.

Purposes of processing personal data

To evaluate your quote requests, provide technical feedback and prepare quotations,
To carry out design, manufacturing, assembly, testing and delivery processes,
To perform contract, order and invoicing transactions,
To develop our products and services in line with your needs,
To ensure the legal, commercial and technical security of Hidromat and its business partners,
To fulfil legal obligations and to respond to requests from authorised institutions.

Legal grounds

Your personal data are processed on the legal grounds set out in Articles 5 and 6 of the KVKK, namely that the processing is directly related to the conclusion or performance of a contract, that the data controller fulfils a legal obligation, that it is necessary for the establishment, exercise or protection of a right, and that it is necessary for our legitimate interests provided that it does not harm your fundamental rights and freedoms; where these grounds are absent, it is processed by obtaining your explicit consent.

Transfer of personal data

Your personal data may be transferred, limited to the purposes above and in accordance with Articles 8 and 9 of the KVKK, to our business partners, our valve and material suppliers, cargo and logistics companies, our legal and financial advisers, the service providers from which we receive e-mail and hosting services, and to public institutions and organisations authorised by law.

Retention period

Your personal data are retained for the period required by the purpose of processing and prescribed by the relevant legislation; at the end of that period they are erased, destroyed or anonymised.

Rights of the data subject (KVKK Article 11)

Pursuant to Article 11 of the KVKK, by applying to the data controller;

To learn whether your personal data are processed,
To request information if your personal data have been processed,
To learn the purpose of the processing of your personal data and whether they are used in accordance with that purpose,
To know the third parties in the country or abroad to whom your personal data are transferred,
To request the correction of your personal data if they have been processed incompletely or incorrectly,
To request the erasure or destruction of your personal data within the conditions laid down in Article 7 of the KVKK,
To request that correction, erasure and destruction operations be notified to the third parties to whom your personal data have been transferred,
To object to a result arising to your detriment through the analysis of the processed data exclusively by automated systems,
To claim compensation for the damage if you suffer damage because your personal data have been processed unlawfully

are the rights you hold.

Application method

You may submit requests concerning your rights in writing, together with documents establishing your identity, to İvedik OSB Mah. Matbaacılar Sit. 1516/1 Cad. No:7, Yenimahalle / Ankara, or send them from the e-mail address registered in our system to info@hidromatmuhendislik.com.tr. Your application is concluded free of charge within thirty days at the latest, depending on the nature of the request; where the process additionally requires a cost, the fee in the tariff determined by the Kişisel Verileri Koruma Kurulu (Personal Data Protection Board) may be charged.
