Parker Hannifin holds a broad range of hydraulic components within motion and control technologies. Its cartridge valve catalogue covers more than 25 product families.

What Parker cartridges bring to manifold design is concrete: they take up less room than solenoid and stud-type valves, call for less machining in the manifold and remove the need to machine or press an orifice into the block. Body, piston, spring and orifice are pressed as a single unit; the valves are tested at the factory.

PRODUCT FAMILIES

Cartridge valve
families.

The main families in the Parker cartridge catalogue, with the ISO 1219 symbols of their functions.

Solenoid valvesSOLENOID VALVES

2-way poppet (single and bi-directional), 2-way spool, 3-way for high pressure, 4/2 and 4/3 spool solenoid cartridges.

Load controlLOAD CONTROL

Standard pilot-assisted load control valves; they hold the load and lower it under control.

ReliefRELIEF

Direct-acting and pilot-operated relief valves.

Pressure reducingREDUCING / RELIEVING

Pilot-operated pressure reducing and relieving valves.

Check valvesCHECK

Standard check valves and pilot-operated check valves.

Flow controlNEEDLE FLOW CONTROL

Needle-type flow control valves.

Proportional throttlePROPORTIONAL THROTTLE

Proportional throttle valves; the TEA series has an integrated shut-off valve.

TDATEA

Slip-in and logic2-WAY SLIP-IN

2-way slip-in cartridges, spool-type logic elements and a high-response 2-way valve.

CECPTDP

Miniature cartridgesMINIATURE

Miniature cartridge solenoid and fluid valves for compact circuits.

WHY A CARTRIDGE?

What do you gain
over a classic valve?

The difference between building the same circuit with piped plumbing and with a cartridge manifold.

AspectPiped / bodied valveCartridge manifold
Space takenEvery valve needs its own body and connectionsThe valves sit together in a single block
Leak pointsEvery fitting and hose is a separate riskThe number of connections drops
Block machining—Standard cavity; no orifice machining or pressing
MaintenanceThe line may have to be dismantledThe cartridge is unscrewed from the cavity and replaced

HOW WE USE THEM

With the block,
a single responsibility.

We do not only sell the valve; we also produce the block it runs in.

01

Product selection to suit the circuitWe identify the right Parker Hannifin product for the flow, working pressure and control type.

02

Cavity machined to the standardWe design and machine the block to the cavity standard of the selected product.

03

Assembly and testingWe fit the valves, check the tightening torques and apply a pressure test up to 350 bar, as the project requires.

we work with.

The right valve for the right block; we solve it independently of the brand.
