Cartridge valves and assembly.

Valve selection for your circuit, standard cavity machining and assembly kit.

WHAT WE DO

The right valve, the right cavity, a matched system.

We select the cartridge valves and assembly components suited to your circuit together with you. Once flow rate, working pressure and control type are clear, the valve type and cavity standard are set.

We machine the cavity to the valve’s own standard. The valve then seats fully in the block, and sealing surfaces and tightening torques stay at the values given by the manufacturer.

We complete the assembly either with valves you supply yourself or with components sourced from us. We are an authorised dealer for Bosch Rexroth, Parker Hannifin, Fluid-Press and ARGO-HYTOS products.

INSIDE THE CARTRIDGE VALVE

A complete valve
seated in the cavity.

  1. 1
    Adjusting screw

Sets the cracking pressure on relief and pressure valves; secured with a lock nut.

  2. 2
    Threaded body

The thread that fixes the valve into the cavity. The thread standard must match the cavity standard exactly.

  3. 3
    Spring

Holds the poppet or spool in the closed position; spring force sets the adjustment range.

  4. 4
    O-ring

Separates the pressure zones inside the cavity; cavity surface finish matters here.

  5. 5
    Poppet

Seats in its seat to shut off flow. The poppet design keeps leakage to a minimum.

  6. 6
    Port 1 (axial)

Flow entering through the nose of the valve.

  7. 7
    Port 2 (lateral)

Flow leaving through the cross holes in the cage; it connects to the side passage in the block.

CAVITY STANDARDS

The thread size
defines the valve.

The most common cavity threads on screw-in cartridges, shown at true diameter ratios. Slip-in logic elements are instead defined by nominal size (NG) to ISO 7368.

PROCESS

An assembled block
in four steps.

One contact from valve selection to post-assembly inspection.

01

Circuit and valve selectionWe assess your hydraulic circuit, flow rate and working pressure, then determine the right cartridge valve type.

02

Defining the cavity standardWe take the valve manufacturer’s cavity standard as the basis; the block design is resolved to that standard.

03

Cavity machiningWe machine the cavities to the dimensions and surface finish their standard requires.

04

Assembly and inspectionWe fit the valves and assembly components, then check tightening torques and sealing.

Can I supply the cartridge valve myself?

Yes. We machine the cavity to the valve’s own standard. If you source the valve from us, we also manage the assembly and test process together.

Which brands’ valves do you sell?

We are an authorised dealer for Bosch Rexroth, Parker Hannifin, Fluid-Press and ARGO-HYTOS products. We determine the product group that fits your need together.

Can I buy only valves, without block production?

Yes. We can supply valves and assembly components without block production as well.

What information is needed for valve selection?

The hydraulic circuit or schematic, flow rate, working pressure and control type are enough. If you are replacing an existing valve, the brand and model on it also speeds up our work.

RELATED SERVICES
